Half the houses in the middle of Attenborough are detached, many with a drive wide enough for two cars, which makes it about as easy a place to valet as anywhere we go. We come to the house, hand wash the paintwork with a method that keeps grit off the clear coat, clean wheels, tyres and glass, then vacuum and wipe down the cabin. Looking after a car in Attenborough between valets

Soak them first with plenty of water so they soften, then lift them off with a clean, soft cloth rather than wiping dry. Avoid scraping or scrubbing, which drags grit across the paint. If a mark is left behind after a hot day, mention it at the next valet and we will look at what can be done to improve it.
Neither. Water and electricity both come from the van, so nothing is taken from the house. The only thing we ask for is a safe, lawful place to work with space to swing the doors wide, and in the middle of the village that is nearly always the drive.
