Valeting Services in Breaston

Ten centuries ago, the Domesday Book recorded Breaston in the Morleystone wapentake as land of Henry de Ferrers. Now a large village in the borough of Erewash, west of Long Eaton, it was put forward in 2014 as a possible site for an HS2 East Midlands Hub station, a plan dropped by July 2015. From our Chilham base the trip takes us about 13 minutes.

Each of our seven services can be booked here and carried out on your own doorstep. Our van holds its own supply of water and electricity, so nothing is plugged into your house, and nothing extra is charged for travel. Behind that sits more than 6 years in the trade, full insurance and a 5.0 Google rating.

Which services fit which Breaston households

Across the 2 small Census 2021 areas (LSOAs) that make up the centre of Breaston there are 1,328 households. Detached homes account for 44% of them and semi-detached for 41.3%, while terraces make up 9.5% and flats or other types 5.3%. Cars are spread unevenly: 45.3% of households own at least two, 39.5% own one, and 15.2% get by without. Where a drive holds two family cars, a rolling valet routine plus the odd steam clean for the one with the child seats or the dog tends to work well. Larger houses with upstairs and back-facing glass are what our water-fed pole system is built for, and shop or office windows in the village can be added too.

The weather settles the rest. At 32 m above sea level, Breaston collects 775 mm of rain on 144 wet days, sees 31 air frost nights, and its humidity tops out at 88% in December. A car that stands unused through that stretch is a prime candidate for mould. Regular users of junction 25 of the M1 or the A52 in winter should think about an engine bay clean in spring, and fabric hoods are best reproofed in May or June.

Valeting in Breaston: Questions

Think of the valet as the routine service, covering bodywork, wheels, glass and a thorough cabin clean, and steam as the specialist step for fabric that has soaked something up: spilt milk, pet smells, a stained rear bench. If you cannot decide, start with the valet and ask us to look at the seats while we are there. We will say plainly whether steam is worth adding.

For anything involving the car, leave it somewhere legal and safe with space round the doors, and make sure we can get hold of the keys. Empty out personal items you would rather we did not handle. For house windows, leave side gates unbolted and the dog indoors. That is all, since water and power come with us.

Certainly. Doing both in one visit saves you arranging two dates, and it suits anyone working from home. Give us the full list at booking so the right amount of time is set aside. Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and on request we can sometimes fit in a weekend or after-hours slot.
