Toton has everything from detached family homes to blocks of flats and rows of terraces, and each brings its own window-cleaning headache: the bay above the porch, the back bedroom over the extension, the conservatory wall. A telescopic pole lets us scrub glass on the first and second storeys while standing on the path, feeding purified water through the brush so the panes dry clear and streak-free. Frames and sills get rinsed as we go, and no one leans a ladder against your house.
Car glass can be added, both faces, to cut down glare and fogging. Toton is 11.2 road miles from Chilham, roughly 16 minutes, and there's never a fee for coming out. Fully insured, 5.0 on Google, and more than six years at this.
Toton's housing mix and keeping glass clear through 143 wet days
The housing figures explain why a pole system makes sense here. Semis account for 35.9% and detached houses for 26.2% of homes in the 3 Census 2021 neighbourhoods (MSOAs) closest to the centre of Toton, which adds up to a lot of upstairs bays, gable-end windows and conservatories. Terraces at 19.0% and flats or other homes at 18.8% bring their own access issues, from narrow back alleys to first-floor flats. Conservatory side panels are cleaned in the normal round, while conservatory roofs and skylights are priced separately on request.
The weather matters too. Toton averages 143 wet days a year, and rain falling on dirty glass dries with the dust and pollen still in it, leaving marks. Purified water carries no minerals, so it leaves nothing behind.

Window cleaning in Toton and the neighbouring areas
Homes across both Toton postcodes, NG9 and NG10, are on our rounds, and so are Chilwell, Attenborough, Beeston, Stapleford, Bramcote and Long Eaton. To reach the back of the house, we need a clear route through a side gate or alley, so please unlock gates and move bins or bikes that are in the way. We don't need to come indoors, and our purified water comes with us. Shops and offices can also be quoted. If you're near George Spencer Academy or Toton Lane tram stop, mention it to help us find you.

Window care tips for Toton homes
Most homes stay looking good on a 4 to 8 week cycle. A first clean in spring clears the pollen and winter grime together, and another in autumn gets the glass bright before the long nights. Don't be put off by rain on the forecast: with nothing left on the glass after a pure water clean, raindrops run off rather than drying into marks.
Before the visit, open blinds or curtains that sit tight against the glass and cut back climbers or baskets blocking the top of a window, as the brush needs a little room to work. Avoid glass sprays between cleans, as they leave a residue that attracts dirt. If you have a dog, let us know so the garden is safe for both of us.
From Our Google Reviews
"Absolutely incredible. Came in the afternoon, saw the state of my Jeep and did an unbelievable job. The idea of cleaning that car had been weighing on me for a while and these guys made it so easy. They made sure they did the job right, and saved me so much money compared to the other quotes I had. Thank you."
Window Cleaning in Toton: Questions
Often, yes. Our poles extend to second storey height, so a first-floor flat is usually simple provided we can stand beneath its outside wall. In a shared block, check first that the managing agent or your neighbours are happy for us to be there.
Nothing, if you're happy with the result. But tap water holds dissolved minerals that dry as spots, and blades can leave lines along the frame edge. Deionised water has had those minerals stripped out, so the pane is left to dry by itself, clear. The pole also keeps us on the ground for upstairs glass.
The upright glass of a conservatory goes in with the normal clean. A roof or skylight needs more thought about access and how dirty it is, so it's priced on its own. Send us a picture, or describe the roof, and you'll have a figure before anything is booked.
